Custom Homes
"Where do we start?" is the most common question we hear from our custom clients when we dive into the architectural design of a new home. At Parker Stuckey Residential, we start the design process by helping our clients determine their goals and desires for their project.
We know that most people don't analyze architecture like we do and many people don't even know what they're looking for. That's why we encourage our clients to sit down with our New Client Survey before we even have our first meeting. The survey is a great tool that helps us determine everything about the home like what the overall feel should be, what the exterior should look like, and which rooms are most important. It gives us the ability to interpret our clients' needs before we draw the first line on a floor plan.
Another tool that helps kickstart the design process is our On the Boards Client Login. This is a secure section of our website where clients can upload and manage their inspiration photos and ideas with their own username and password. That sketch on the restaurant napkin, collection of photos from the family vacation, or images from websites or magazines can all be kept in one location that is accessible from any computer with an internet connection.
Of course, each of these tools is backed up by a series of meetings that help us get to know the client and determine their needs more and more as we go through the design process. We'll schedule regular meetings for each of the design phases and continue throughout the construction process because we know that our projects don't end once the design is completed. We feel an obligation to our clients to follow up during construction to ensure that each of their goals and desires are met.
